Therapy is a private place.
The more we share and connect and like and filter ourselves, the more we seem to be left on our own with the messy parts of our lives.
Therapy can help you to try and to understand these parts of yourself that you most need help with. Therapy is a place to be your worst.
These private feelings are not always safe and warm and peaceful, which is why you might need help with them. In order to help you, we might be dealing with your fear, your confusion, your hate and your jealousy, or your painful feelings about love and sex. Perhaps its about how it feels to be in your body or to be in your family, to have lost or suffered, been discriminated or bullied. It might be that you don’t know how you feel, what you're doing or what is happening with the people in your life.
